I"m sure the answers to these questions are somewhere in this thread but I'll ask anyway. We haven't been to JB @ JB since 2004 and we are wondering how early you can show up, and what is the desired lot. I recall getting there around 10a-ish and parking in what seemed to be the closest lot to the theater (very close to beachhouse/bathrooms). Is this still do-able, and is there a name/number for this lot?

The forecast has changed from 83 and sunny to 80 and partly cloudy, but still only a 10% chance of rain. I'll take a day like we're having on LI right now, it's only 78 degrees but when I walked up the block to 7-11 to buy the newspaper it was beautiful out.

As long as the drenching rain that hit us last year stays away it's all good! Now trying to see how early I can get hubby to head down!

The lot closest to the theater is lot 5. The lots all used to open at 8am, I'm not sure if they still do but they should be open by 10.

So we are canceling our Wed. night room at the Best western. Now leaving New Paltz early, early early Thurs. a.m. We'll still stay at the hotel Thurs. night & head out Fri a.m. Anything going on poolside after the concert???
Don't forget to look for us, the "Ladies Lounging at the Lagoon".
Have an extra ticket if anyone needs...sec. 6R row KK seat 11. $113 face value.

Hey
Just wondering if some people feel the same as I do.
After last years rain n lighting storm that delayed the start of the show, our group missed the opening 3 songs. Then the show was cut short by 4 songs because of time constraints.
Do you think JB will try to make up for the short show or is it forgotten.
This is not a complaint , just seeing if others feel the same.

Helloooo parrotheads!! All ready for the big show!!?? We have an 800 mile drive ahead of us tomorrow to get there, but can't wait!! I have a quick question on the cups for the well informed. We're planning on bringing along the frozen concoction maker and handing out some rum drinks. Normally, we just use small clear cups, which come along pretty inexpensive. Is this going to be an issue, or do we really NEED to get solid coloured cups??

I"ve been going to Jones Beach for years, as long as you dont carry a bottle they usaully don't bother you. With that being said i drink bottles when i"M INFRONT OF OUR OWN TAILGATE BUT WHEN WALKING AROUND I USAULLY PUT MY DRINK IN A CUP. opps hit caps by mistake.
