Last night was my first Buffett concert and it exceeded my already-high expectations! Awesome night, with some of my favorite songs that I had no idea he would do live, and some real characters in the crowd. Mr. Buffett has been a source of inspiration for me and one of my favorite singers/writers for years, but going to a show in person is really a completely different side of the experience. Definitely looking forward to going back.

Going to Jones Beach as your first show and the weather we had had to be a great experience -it is one of the nicest venues to see him with the water as a back drop -Glad you had a great time (I'm paying for mine now )

So sad my Buffett season came to a close. Listened in my lawn chair outside entrance to the show. It Was a different experience, but still enjoyable. Just sad how many people leave the concert so early-I guess different folks different strokes.

Boy am I tired! The day was lots of fun, the weather was perfect, the crowd was groovy, the concert was fabulous. I am also sad that my Buffett season has come to an end. Jimmy really seemed to be enjoying himself at the three shows I went to this year. We were in the nosebleed section, and many people sat thru most of the show. Not me, but I stood in the aisle and danced so as not to disrupt anyone's view. Only got hassled by an usher once. Beautiful full moon last night. Only bummer was that the traffic on the Belt parkway was bumper to bumper and we lost an hour, and would up in the farther lot. The closer lot had a lot more going on, with live music and a livelier atmosphere. I think we will stay over the night before the show from now on so we don't have to drive in from Jersey, and yes we will be back next year! Thanks for a great summer, Jimmy!

I had such a blast!

Thank you everyone for being so awesome- I'm sure we passed by and talked to a bunch of y'all (if you saw a girl in a pink pirate hat, and a multi-colored grass skirt, walking with another person in a grass skirt) it was me and ma!

Next time, we're coming earlier and gonna set up a small encampment in the handi-capable lot (We're still both paying for all the walking and dancing we did!) The pre-concert-concert in the lot was A-MAY-ZING- the only thing better was the concert itself!

We learned that way up in the cheap seats, the end seats aren't on an aisle, they're on a wall... and are a wind tunnel. So... next time, we're sitting down on the bottom, or bringing coats and blankets! View was amazing, no matter what though.

Can't wait till next year!
