I will be there with my wading pool and Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker I got as a Christmas present!! I plan on tailgating at the Campbell Field Lot. Stop by for some Cheeseburger in Paradise cookies and Margarita Cupcakes among other treats. Look for two blue canopies. I don't care what the City of Camden thinks.

If anyone is interested I have a bus going down to Camden for the show. The bus is leaving from Clifton,nj (15 minutes east of NYC) at 10AM and will arrive back around 12:30-1AM. We have half the bus filled and would like to extend an invitation to any fellow parrot heads who would like to join our tailgate or just need a ride down. Price is negotiable, depending if you need a ride or want in on our food/booze. PM me if interested!

The bus is leaving from Clifton,nj at my parents house. 10 AM sharp. We have about 25 people going and the food/booze/bus is going to cost about $75.00 per person. The menu includes frozen margaritas and land shark. Burgers, dogs, 6 foot subs plus snacks and cake. We have backyard games like corn hole, Buffett drinko board, and polish horseshoes. We have a friendly good group and the core of them have been going for 10 years now. Hope the info helps.

Just called Susquehanna Bank Center and asked about pop-up canopies this
year. Lady said they did not allow them for any shows so far this year but I
should call the day of the show to make sure. You can take that for what
it's worth. If I can't get in the shade this might be my last Camden show.

Does anyone know what time the lots open? Last year it was hit or miss with the canopy's some could some couldn't, I am with you if not and with AC most likely going to be a permanent venue , that will be our choice.

We will be there by noon with pool, FCM, and all the rest of the gear. It sounds as though they intend to stick with the (hit or miss) EZ-up ban, but they seem to have no issues at all with beach umbrellas. We are bringing 6 of them for shade.

We are usually in the Cambells Field lot or the big one next to it, but I cant shake the feeling that we're missing something.

I'm planning on being at Campbell's Field by 10:30. Yes I know I'll be sitting in my car for a while but that's the way it goes. I've been to several lots and decided to go back to CF because it seems to have more room. I really liked 2008 when the show was in Citizens Bank Park and we parked at the Linc lot. But this will be my last year at Camden; I'm tired of the aggravation. Jones Beach on Long Island is very accomodating of tailgaters I've been told and I've already picked my hotel for next year. I would have gone this year but have scheduling conflicts. I wish whoever does Jimmy's scheduling would just stop using this venue but I probably have a greater chance at winning the lottery. 6 MORE DAYS!!!!!

they will stop using Camden...next year when the AC Margaritaville opens.

For this year, we will be there early too, but I'll be sitting on an air-conditioned bus with 50 friends and drinks...thanks MK for hooking it all up

I just spoke to Mark Scheiber, he's running the Riversharks party with Jimmy & The Parrots which starts at noon and he said he was told that the lots will open at 11:00 am.

The lots are all city owned so they do not have any control, but he said he met with the head of Sus. bank center & they confirmed this.

In case you don't know, they have Jimmy & the Parrots playing from 1-5 in their patio area inside the fence (not the actual ballpark seating), $5 admission, wristband lets you come & go, food & drinks for sale and Air conditioned restrooms ! It' open from 12-6 pm. I would think they would have to at least have Lot 11 open at 11:00 am for this, if nothing else.
