Jimmy flew to New Orleans after the Tampa
A few people noted that they thought last nights show semed a little short. It might have been because Jimmy was spotted at the D.B.A. in New Orleans and played a few songs! A buddy of mine called me from New Orleans and told me Jimmy was in the house!!
I'm back to livin' Floridays

I want to know why R.M wont be broadcasting the show tomorrow??? Thats some BS. Its not like CBS or the NCAA is going to broadcast it.
edit: I'm not blaming RM, Im saying its BS for the final four to not let them broadcast

Of course I had never heard of d.b.a., so I read online about the one in New Orleans and the one in New York.
So, what does d.b.a. stand for?
The letters for the bar at 618 Frenchmen St. stand for "doing business as." However, the staff there has been known to tell inquiring customers it means "drink beer always" or "don't bother asking." Hey, the people who work there get weary of being asked.
The d.b.a. in New Orleans is owned by the same folks who opened the first establishment by that name in New York City (41 First Ave.). So when you go from the Big Easy to the Big Apple you can feel a little bit at home. The two nightclubs look very much alike and serve the same fine beer and other adult beverages.
And if two d.b.a.s aren't enough, a third one just opened at 113 N. 7th St. in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood.

I like "drink beer always" myself.

why ???? it's not part of his tour.....he was invited to play as part of NCAA weekend. Nothing to do with him. He did a concert for the Miami Super Bowl a few years ago that wasn't broadcasted.msu#1 wrote:I want to know why R.M wont be broadcasting the show tomorrow??? Thats some BS. Sigh. Not only will I have a near-miss when he plays on Sunday, but we returned from our Gulf Coast vacation tour to fly out of NOLA likely a couple of hours before he played d.b.a.
It was still a great time touring from New Orleans to Gulf Shores to Pensacola Beach with temps of 80s, escaping temps of 70s/80s in the Midwest. Bizarre winter.

Sounds like you have the kind of luck I do. I'm thinking of changing my middle name to "Missedhimbythatmuch".looking4OPH wrote:Sigh.
