well, good news and bad news....

the bad news first...not going to make the show this year

good news, it's because i will be down in key west for the first time in my life

after our europe trip fell through, my wife surprised me with a birthday trip to key west and ft lauderdale. we land at hobby at 8:55pm on the 2nd, so no way i can make it over in time.

needless to say, i'm excited to be headed to the mecca of all things Buffett in a week.
yall have fun without me. take pictures, and i hope to see some of yall at a show sometime later this year.

We have never been to this venue, how does the parking work? I know that the tailgate lot was pre-pay but is there another lot? Do they allow you to park at the mall and walk over. I am a little familiar with the area around there. I was hoping for a different hotel and walking from there but we are a bit far away to walk.

There were two main lots where people tailgated last year right next to each other. One had spots for the PH clubs but there were other people not associated with them in that lot. Many people parked in the mall and walked over to the tailgate lots.

I've got 2 spots and I think Nancy has 1. I'm just curious if anyone else paid for a spot so we can all try to go in together. Set up camp and let everyone else know where we are.
