I’m so excited
I CAN NOT STAND IT !!!
Just fyi for those of you going, I’ve been to the venue many times. It only holds 2700 people. Most of the people are in assigned seats. Doors open at 6:30, show at 8…..so a line forming isn’t really going to happen except to the people AT the door at 6:30. It’s not going to be like going into the larger venues. This place is small, the acoustics are AMAZING!! and there is not a seat that is further than 75 feet away from the stage (even “nose bleed”). This will be like a private show. It’s a very intimate setting. There are bars everywhere. I’ve been to a few sold out shows and on the floor for at least one of them. There is plenty of room. They don’t let more on the floor than “allowed”, especially for this show (they didn’t for the other show I went to that was sold out). Even if you are standing waaaaay back at a bar on the floor – you’ll be completely away from the crowd and still be able to see his expressions/face, etc.
So don’t worry – you won’t have to rush the floor or stage to be able to see if you have GA floor tickets. You can actually see a little better if you stand back a little from the crowd because there won’t be some tall guy right in front of you.

I got there at 7, grabbed a bite to eat across the street, a drink in the W bar, went into the venue a little after 7:30 - no line at all. Bathroom, onto the floor, second in line at one of the inside bars and was well established 30-40 from the stage by 8. He came on around 8:15.
FANTASTIC show. Far exceeded my expectations. He seemed to love the place and we certainly loved him.

Great venue. I think ACL is now in my top 5 places to see a show. I couldn't hear Jimmy when he was talking but the sound of the band was great.
I was able to mark "Who's the Blonde Stranger" off my list of songs to hear live.
gulf Coast Highway was also special to hear live.
Now on to the Woodlands!

Really bad scan of the BN crew. Hoping the local beer people upload these to their site soon!
