Turn up your speakers & listen to a couple of really nice songs from back in the day when I'd only been to ONE Buffett concert, and tell me who you see in this video.

Recognize any of these people?
Other than the obvious, of course.

I remember that, I have it on video tape along with some other old Carson appearances.

Love that video of those two Hot Water songs. I know Matt Betton is the drummer.
Is that the first appearance without the mustache?

Re: Recognize any of these people?
That's Steve Cropper on lead guitar, in the white suit behind Jimmy....I had no idea he played with Jimmy til I saw this video....the CRB database says he played with Jimmy on two tours. Impressive!

Re: Recognize any of these people?
The one I recognized was Steve Cropper, didn't know he played and even toured with Jimmy!
If you like the vibe of the song do a youtube search for Johhny Clegg. He wrote that song, he's an amazing guy from South Africa, grew up with Zulus.
I saw him many moons ago in Switzerland, was an outstanding performance!

Re: Recognize any of these people?
I think I decided in another thread that the bass player is probably Tim Drummond.

Tiki Torches thought bass player may be Emory Gordy.

Is the other guitar player besides Cropper, Tim Krekel.
(Two Tims?? What are the chances?)
