I was requested to start this again.
When asked to name the sports cliche they were most sick of, the #1 answer was "we're taking it one game at a time." 7% of people said this one is the most abused....

Oh lord there are sooooo many to chose from.
Football players make football plays (That one may be just seattle during the Chuck Knox years)
Our fans really helped us out alot today
He was really in the zone today.
We can't seem to buy a win.
