Now when you say that.... do you mean he'd play Nautical Wheelers, or is this a bait and switch?
I believe that it's on his list of "never again played" like "Captain America" and "Ellis Dee"
Why is that? I like all those songs.

I don't think he's made a habit out of playing any of the songs he originally recorded for Down To Earth, High Cumberland Jubilee and the soundtrack to Rancho Deluxe with the obvious exception of the ones he later re-recorded for other records.

Maybe DC-Baltimore area or around Philadelphia????? :pirate:
The Baltimore Inner Harbor would have been an ideal location.

Did anything ever move into the ESPN Zone location
after it closed down?

That would work for me!!!!!!! :pirate:

Like many others, I would love it if Jimmy did an acoustic tour playing small, even tiny, venues.

This is kind of an interesting thread for me. After almost dying last year seeing Jimmy in concert last October filled this wish for me.

I saw him do an acoustic tour in the early '80s, it was memorable. I had him ride a beachcruiser up to out tailgate at Irvine and say hi (he refused a drink) and I've lived to see my daughters become total PH's. I guess getting to 50 concerts is my only desire now, well I do wish I could have a few cocktails before but that's definitely out.

Legend has it that a movie deal was seriously considered, but don't know why it never happened. Too bad, I pride myself on solving the mysteries I read before the finish. This ending I did not see coming...... :o

I should read the book again in the near future! :pirate:

I wish JB would write a book about all his experiences in Key West.

I second that emotion Debbie. My love for reading stems from reading about Florida history through such authors as Carl Hiaasen, Randy Wayne White, James W. Hall, Tom Corcoran, Tim Dorsey and John D. MacDonald. A book about Key West from Jimmy's experiences would be a highlight in my library.

Good idea! I'm reading "Mile Marker Zero"now by William McKeen. Great tales of all the "characters" (JB included) from the "old" days in KW....... :pirate:

I wish they would release Live By The Bay on DVD/CD. I have a VHS copy and nothing to play it on.

I may be in the minority here, but if I want to hear Buffett studio tracks, I play my iPod. I love to tune into Radio Margaritaville for unique live tracks that I don't already have in my collection! 8)
