Alpine Weekend - Hemingways or Two Seasons on Fridaynight?
I am planning on attending my first Alpine show this year and would like some input from the veterans on where to go on Friday night - Hemingways or Two Seasons? I've heard great things about both. Thanks for your thoughts.

Re: Alpine Weekend - Hemingways or Two Seasons on Fridaynight?
I have only been to Hemingways, it was one of my best times ever! I have heard that both parties are great. Nice to have a choice although would be even nicer if they would combine efforts (hint hint).
Pholks seem to go to Two Seasons to see the Coral Reefers or if they are camping at the bowling alley. I thought about going there this year. Last year I met a bunch of people who came over to the Hemingways party from there that night, they said the owner is friends with Doyle and that is why they get the CRers there every year, they said it is a blast at both places although Hemingways seems to have a better atmosphere and beach party attitude.
What I heard was the CRers aren't going to be playing pre-shows this year, so at $25 to see the Boat Drunks, I'm gonna pass, have seen them a few times and they are very good but I got to go with the 3 bands at Hemingways were kickass and Ilo was great (hope he comes this year again)! And I did the bus from there also and will be doing it this year again. The owner (Steve) throws one heck of a parrothead bash all weekend!
I will be attending Hemingways again this year. Wherever you decide, you will have a blast!

yeah....since Doyle, Nadirah, and Utley won't be at Two Seasons, I may try Hemmingway's this year.

Thanks phinparadise, lots of good info. I think we will try Hemingways but either choice would be a good one. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed about getting tickets tomorrow!

Both are great. I'm hitting Hemingways again this year.
