If one is just a casual fan or even a hardcore Parrothead who does not follow Jimmy
across the country multiple times a year, you'd probably be just fine with the encores.
Even if I went to every show I would not have a sense of entitlement. Sure I can wish for
a gem and have even heard a quite a few but it's never been a uber-huge deal either way.
I've only been to 12 shows but I've never left one p!ssed off at the encore selection or that he did not play my song.
In fact, I've left all but one on a natural high, and that one, I left early because of something unrelated to the show.
I believe Jimmy tries to please all fans, casual and hardcore and some will never be pleased.
Again, in my case, I'm just happy to be there for the whole event with friends of good tunes.

i agree that the acoustic set is pretty weak, plus the "old" songs he's dug up are pretty blah...

Southern Cross accoustical is awesome. Pencil thin......meh.....Piece of Work....I for 1 like the growl Mac can put into that 1....but no question there are better candidates in the catalog.

Been MIS from the site for awhile and see that every set list never has anything from him listed.
