I do have that show, but I'm not sure what version of it I have. I probably got it off of jockelben (sp?). I can tell a huge difference between what SunLover is putting up now versus what was available a few years ago.
I'll have to check out that version and compare it to what I have.
2008 was the first show for Mrs. Bucarader!
Don't try to describe the ocean if you've never seen it.

It sure would be great to get a better copy of it, that is, if SunLover is up to it!
I usually capture the weekly replays to DVR with the intent of editing later, depending on which show it is. So many of the recent replays have been from the past couple years. I'm trying to get some of the rare or older shows that are not played as often. I will check out tonight's broadcast later tonight.

The copy currently on jokelben and Sunlover's server were in fact recorded by Sunlover. Most if not all of the recordings on Jokelben from 2005 to the present are actually uploads of Sunlover's recordings from recorded directly from RM on Sirius/XM.

I have tried and tried but can not download anything from jokelben.

There are two ways to download from Jokelben either via the web links which is: http://buffett.jokelben.us/ to download using this link you have to right click the files you want to download and save them to a folder on your harddrive.
The other option for downloading is to use an FTP program such as Filezilla to download with. This method requires some basic setup of the filezilla program which is easy to do. You have to add the server info to the Filezilla program so the program can connect to the server, The info is as follows:
Server address: buffett.jokelben.us
logon name: buffett@jokelben.us
password: buffett2012
If you need additional help Sunlover posted more detailed FTP Setup info here: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=86095
I think I have the version that is currently on SunLover's site. So, that means any re-record would not be worth the effort because it would be the same as what we have, correct?
You never know unless you ask!
Maybe someday they will replay Houston's "Far Side of the World" show. That one I'd love to have re-done someday. A great show that one was!

Thanks but been there, tried that a dozen times....nothing works.
No one in the family can get it to work.
Guess we aren't geeky enough??

For any concert from June 2005 thru the present the replays will sound the same as the live broadcasts. This is because Sirius/XM started carrying RM in June 2005. Any shows originally recorded from before June 2005 will likely sound better.

Even the website link: http://buffett.jokelben.us/ does not work for you? Sounds like a firewall is blocking things on your end the server should work through a web browser using the website link. Just click the link and see what happens you should see the list of shows on the server listed in date order from oldest to newest as a list of links. If you see the list click one of the shows and a list of the songs for that show should appear as a list of links, right click a song and a small menu should appear with a option to save the file to your harddrive.
The Filezilla program is easy to setup and Sunlover created a step by step guide with images in the buffettnews link above.

Yes, I can download one song at a time, but can not download an entire show.

You need to use Filezilla or any other FTP program to download the shows a full show at a time
Go to this thread here on Buffettnews for step by step setup instructions for FileZilla there is even a link to down load the program from in the thread: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=86095
Sunlover has created an excellent and easy to use tutorial on how to setup an FTP program for both jokelben and his server called cubeas.
