Good news to share - our daughter is cancer free!!! Here's the gift we had made to give her oncologist -
Our daughter is 20 and the cancer she had is considered a children's cancer so she's been treated at a children's hospital. Very kind compassionate people but not always the perfect match for a 20 year old. It was hard to choose just the right words for this bowl but I think we did okay. We also brought cake pops for all the nurses -

What a year its been - what we thought was TMJ turned out to be this crazy tumor. 43 weeks later she's on her way to getting back to herself and back to finish college. First stop to celebrate - a Jimmy concert exactly one year to the day she started treatment.

Never thought about the original title sounding like spam - I just changed the title hopefully its better now. A while back I asked for help on these boards to find the right words for the pottery. It was made by a potter in town and he worked hard to have it ready for the day of her last chemo treatment. My intention was to share good news, say thanks for those that made suggestions and share the great artwork. Definitely not spam…..
