Gosh, I'm watching a taping of CBS Sunday Morning and just saw and ad for Jimmy's Live from Los Vegas CD/DVD. What is the world coming to?

He's not just a troubadour anymore. :o

I still just LOVE your sig picture...especially the expanded one where the beach ball is coming right at him.

Did you see Charleston getting steamed when someone threw the shark up there last night? :o

Was that as Jimmy walked off stage? Cause I could tell what he said and it wasn't nice.

I've never seen a Buffett commercial on tv here in St. Louis.

I don't want to type excatly what he said here as to not offend anyone (is that possible here on BN????), but let's just say he did not say that that person was a "Frekin Awsome" dude

Even so, Jimmy took the shark with him when he left. But the beach balls at GW were really vicious this year. One knocked my glasses off and several just barely missed Jimmy and Mike.

Many years ago (1990s) ....
one of the times when my wife and I
had front row center seats
at Merriweather Post Pavilion,
Jimmy drop kicked a beach ball
directly into my face
just as I was in mid-sip of my beer ....

He apologized profusely
between songs
and had the crew
bring me another beer.

Merriweather Post was a great pavilion.
Front row at MPP was actually close to the stage,
about 4 feet away,
and the stage was only about
4 1/2 feet high ....
lots of opportunities to actually talk
to Jimmy between songs ...

The area between the barrier and the stage wall was full of beach balls, almost to the top. I have never seen it that full. Usually the beach balls peter out after a few songs, they seemed to be no end this this year.

The Beach Balls at The Woodlands this year were more than I had seen at any time. I saw beer spilled glasses knocked off, but everyone took it well.
