I've now got a connection that can get me backstage to meet John. He knows John quite well.
(Sure wish I had known he could have done that in the past ... he just told me this the other day).
I've seen John perhaps 30+ times in concert dating back to the late 70s.
I can transfer the tickets ... but not the backstage access unfortunately.

I wonder if I can call the box office and tell them
"Give these tickets free to the first person looking to buy two tickets,

I think I could offer the tix a good home. I have never even actually been on this forum until today although I am a big Buffett fan (as well as John Prine). I just did a google search for a free ticket giveaway and this forum came up. My wife and I really wanted to go to the show this year, especially since Emmy Lou is opening and my wife loves her as well as Prine. She's been working 60 plus hours a week on a volunteer basis for our kids school for more than a year so it is a little hard to justify money for concerts right now. We live in Annandale but the school is actually right by Wolf Trap so we could either pick the tickets up at the show or she could even get them a day or two before. Just let me know if they are still available... Thanks for your consideration. This would continue my ticket Karma as someone actually gave me a free ticket to the Buffett show last year at Jiffy Lube Live right after my car broke down while driving into the parking lot. A free ticket then helped ease the pain of me having to ride back home after the show in a tow truck.

the show was great, thanks so much for the tix!!! It was about the best weather I've ever had for a show at an indoor/outdoor venue, seats were great and I think it was the quickest we've ever gotten into and out of a show. Didn't get a Buffett style tailgate going or anything but it was nice to go to an almost 3 1/2 hour show and only be gone a total of 5 hours including dropping off the kids and picking them up from a babysitter.

last year CJ (jbfinscj) gave us 2 free tix to John Prine at the Wolf Trap the night before the JB show in Bristow (which was subsequently rescheduled because of the Hurricane).

anyway...I digress...AIN'T BNr'S GREAT!!!!!
