John Hiatt is going to be at the Castle Theater in Bloomington, IL on Saturday, August 18. Tickets are $35 & $45. I love his songs that Jimmy covers - Window on the World, Tiki Bar is Open...

I've been fan since I first heard Bring the Family way back when but somehow I've only managed to see Hiatt in concert once, which was a real treat. While I'm glad to see Buffett cover his songs and expose Hiatt to potentially new fans, I still prefer his originals to Buffett's covers.

Thank you for the tip! Can't wait for the new release, but no tour dates in the deep south yet.

Lots of albums to look forward to in September in addition to this one including new ones from Patterson Hood, Chris Knight, Bob Dylan and the 25th Anniversary deluxe edition of R.E.M.'s
Document. I know I'm leaving out a bunch but those are a few that are at the top of my most wanted list.
