The initial survey went on to ask questions regarding number of Buffett concerts attended in the past five years, visits to Margaritaville Cafes, purchases of Margaritaville products, etc. It sounds on the up and up but we are always skeptical of these kinds of emails. Has anyone else received or signed up for the survey?

I did too -was a little leery, especially when they offer something in return -so I thought about it & deleted it

Seems strange, I would be leery, too. Why not go to Margaritaville.com and ask if it's legit?

I got it too...deleted it because I wasn't sure it was legit.

I got it, I took it, I qualified... I can use the money. Hoping for the best, but curious what Margaritaville's response would be.

I went to the Itracks, Inc. web site. Definitely legit. Just another marketing research firm. I guess the folks out there in Margaritaville, Inc. want some feedback regarding their services, products and market segment. If they want my opinion, I suppose I'll share it with them. My first comment will be to get rid of the cheesy fabrics in their t-shirts and go with something a little more sturdy. I hate flimsy t-shirts. Not with my 50 something man-breasts.

I got one and I am going to check out the forum next week. It will give me something to do during a boring conference call for work.

I got it, took the survey, got as far as saying I haven't been to a Buffett show in five years (my last one was in 2002) and that's all she wrote.

I got one but won't be in the area on dates needed.

I went back and checked through my emails; I got one too but my email filter directed it right to the "spam" mailbox.  I rescued it and started to take it; apparently if you complete the questionnaire to their satisfaction you would be invited to take part in some sort of online board/discussion running from Tuesday 9/4 thru Thursday 9/6.  Anyhow, I got to the same point Remittance Man did where they asked how many shows you've been to.  I'd been to Alpine Valley back in 2009 so clicked on the "0 - 3" level and at that point got a polite thank you and a message saying the survey was completed.  Apparently they only want to talk with the hardcore concert-goers.

Anybody who did go through the rigamarole and ends up taking part in this, please let us all know what happened after Thursday, OK?

I checked "none" on the list of Margaritaville stuff purchased.

And immediately got booted out with a "thank you for participating".

I just got mine last night. I don't think I have purchased anything in over a year.
