Have a great day Boise. Listening to Concert Replay right now from the Beach Odyssey Tour....my first Buffett concert........wishing I was sharing the concert day enthusiasm with you guys!
No worries about the weather conditions for you guys.
My first show ever was a mid November show here in Michigan.....temp in the lower 40's/upper 30's as well........didn't seem to temper the spirits of anyone in the lot that I could tell. Still plenty of Limbo going on.....cheeseburgers on the grill.....shorts & Hawaiian shirts. Ah, the memories of "How it all began"!

It was 36 degrees when I woke up at 6:30. It's 34 now. I'm not liking that trend.

I'll have more to say when I get home and can sit in front of my computer instead of typing on the little virtual keyboard on my phone. Thanks to Wayne for being my tour guide on my first trip to Boise.

It was a Great Concert..... Superb!!!!!! Couldn't have been better, and Jimmy said he's sorry it took him so long to come to Boise....... WINNER!!!!!! I think he'll come back because the whole thing was so good!!!! Best concert I've ever been too, Boise showed up!!!!

Thanks For the Call

Got to Boise late Wednesday morning, had to wait almost 1/2 hour for the shuttle to the hotel and I froze my jewels off standing outside. When we landed the pilot said it was 41 degrees. It felt a lot colder and it was windy and damp.

Got settled at the hotel then called Wayne to let him know I was in town. He came and picked me up and we went to Hooters for lunch. We had a cute little waitress and when we were leaving I asked her if I could get a picture. She said "let me go get the other girls" so I got a picture with 3 of them. Yes, the HOG's still got it. I was beat, my flight from Seattle was at 6am, so I asked Wayne to drop me off back at the hotel so I could take a nap. Another tour of downtown Boise later before stopping at a great Irish pub for food and beer. Snow Cap Ale is mighty tasty. Cute blonde bartender too.

Concert day was pretty cold but we got is started with a nice breakfast at a place whose name escapes me at the moment. Denver omelet, potatoes and a scone the size of Beyonce's booty. Great stuff.

I never tailgated in 35 degree weather before. I have now. Took a break and walked across the street to the local Parrothead club's party at chili's. Angry orchard hard cider and cinnamon whiskey is mighty tasty.

The concert was good, but like I said in the setlist thread I wish he had pulled at least one tune out of the back catalog. First time he's ever played Boise, he should have done something special.

I know I'll probably forget someone but here goes ...
It was good to finally meet Troy after all these years. Thanks for trying to get us a better view of the blue turf than we could get from the parking lot. Good to see Jim again, it's been a few years since that BN lunch at M'ville in Vegas. Garth and Guy, the Midnight brothers, Parrothead Red and his mom. And of course Lynn, lady parrothead, great to see you again.

I finally got to meet the elusive Kate. I can't believe I walked right by you in the casino in Vegas twice last weekend and didn't know it was you. And saw you in the breakfast area at the Best Western in Massapequa Park the day of the Jones Beach show. Oh well, after being at the same show 6 times this year at least I know who you are now.

And last but not least, thanks to Wayne for being a great host and tour guide. I never thought I'd say this about a place in a cold climate and in cold weather, but I had a really good time in Boise. Thanks.

Larry missed you on Friday We saw Elk and Coyotes during a drive.. (and me without a gun )

I hope all the out of towners enjoyed Boise. I was sitting in the very first row so it was hard to tell, but it sure seemed like we had a pretty darn good crowd! Also, I thought the tailgating was not to bad at all (for Boise).
