Cowboys could be in first place in the NFC East on Black Friday... Could make for an interesting December.

Can't happen -IF they win makes them 5-5 while the Giants who are off Sunday are 6-4
Apologies... You are correct... That should read Nov. 26
If Dallas wins against Cleveland on Sunday, then wins against Washington on Thanksgiving Day, and the Giants lose to the Packers on Nov. 25 , Dallas will be in first place on Nov. 26.

Just remember the Cowgirls do have the "human" turnover machine, so even against crappy teams you that have nothing to lose -strange things can happen

I dunno Ravi....the Eagles are on a losing streak. The best way for an NFL team to break a losing streak is to play us.

All I know is that this freakin' annual *tradition*
of giving the Cowpokes a built-in advantage
of making another team travel on a very short
week has got to end.
Visiting teams get 1 day to heal, about a day and a half to practice
then it's off to the airport to travel to Texas. Sux.

Wassamatter, SP, you a fan of the 'Skins?
It falls under the category of "part of the job". Baseball teams do it all the time, every week — finish an afternoon game, head for the airport, fly to the site for the next series, and play the first game of the series the following evening less than 24 hours later.
And might I mention that these poor, battered examples of the walking wounded are being paid quite handsomely for these sorts of 'sacrifices'? Don't forget too that they then get the equivalent of another 'bye' week since it's generally ten days before they have to play again. Lots of time for the trainers to kiss the boo-boos and make them go away.

Doesn't address my point (whine) that year-in-year-out the Cowbots have this built in advantage game
where they don't have to travel in a short holiday week but their opponents do.
Even the pathetic Detroit Lions raise their record to a mediocre .500
with their T'giving bonus advantage every year as opposed to their usual
well below .500 fare.

tough to compare baseball and football.....the body does take a few days to recover from a football game , baseball isn't as physically demanding a sport ,....now if you said Hockey i would of agreed, very physical sport and sometimes playing back to back.
