Watt an amazing stat.
A slightly misleading stat, since they've added more rounds to the playoffs over the years.
STILL, it's pretty damn impressive what he's done in regular AND post season. And he shows no signs of slowing down.
I just hope he has the absolute best game of his career next Sunday.
I'm getting a bit antsy waiting to open this case of champagne for my "GOOD RIDDANCE RAY LEWIS" party.
I'm pretty sure that Belicheck would probably use what Brendon Ayanbadejo tweeted about the Patriots offense to try to spot a 50 or even 60 on the Ravens defense.
People who reference spygate are retaahded. Since spygate the Patriots have won something like 75 regular season games while losing only roughly 21 games (doing so without Tom Brady out for one of those years which truly shows the depth of Bellichick's regime). They have the only 16 game undefeated season, they have set scoring records, set the record for most consecutive wins in a row, and have won more playoff games since the accusation then most teams win in a decade. Here is where someone (probably someone who resides in Wisconsin who has a sarcastic bone or two in his body) states something about no Super Bowl wins or something which just adds to the retaaaahedness. It is an obvious non factor, no point, and something to reference by bitter fools who wish their team didn't pass up on Brady during the first 5 rounds of the draft. Complete - legit - domination. Just give up.
I'm just happy the Redskins made the playoffs this year.

And Patriot Fans are glad the Giants were out of the Playoffs!!

Not me. I wanted them in. Retribution.

Survey: 13% Of Americans Hoping For Falcons-Ravens Super Bowl So They Can Get Some Work Done In The Yard That Day
January 16, 2013 ·
By PFM Staff
According to a new survey by ESPN Sportsnation, a full 13% of Americans are hoping to see an Atlanta Falcons-Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl matchup on February 3rd so that they will be free to get some work done out in the yard that day.
“Falcon-Ravens in the Super Bowl? That’d be great,” said Ken Sanford of Phoenix AZ. “I’ve been trying to find a day to head outside and finish painting that fence. That would be the perfect opportunity.”
According to the survey, 38% of participants would enjoy watching the San Francisco 49ers battle the New England Patriots for the NFL championship. Both teams have enormous fan bases, and storied histories that include multiple Super Bowl titles.
“A Pats-Niners game would be classic,” claimed Jessica Cohen of Coral Gables, FL. “Think of the storylines. Brady vs. Kaepernick would pit an aging legend against a rising young star. Plus you’d have two great dynasties facing each in the big game for the first time. Not to mention the whole ‘east coast versus west coast’ thing. It’d be epic. But on the other hand, Atlanta against Baltimore would give me the time to weather seal the back porch, so that’d be good too I guess.”
In the same way that classic Super Bowl matchups have resulted in massive simultaneous flushings of toilets worldwide during halftime, a Falcons-Ravens matchup is expected to produce an unprecedented run on gardening supplies and other outdoor repair equipment at Home Depot in the day leading up to the game.
“Yeah, my wife’s been after me for a few weeks now to get out in back and fix this one leaky sprinkler pipe,” said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. “It’s been hard to find the time, especially with all these great playoff matchups recently. And on February 3rd, I’m supposed to be in New Orleans for the Super Bowl to present a trophy and do some other work stuff. Frankly, if it ends up being Atlanta-Baltimore, I just may beg out of it to stay home and work on that pipe.”

This has been one of the best playoff seasons in recent memory.

And now to prepare for the annual worst 2 weeks of sports coverage of the year. SportsRadio and ESPN are intolerable at this time of year, with the over-coverage of the 3rd-string punter's runny nose, and how it will affect the field conditions during the 2nd-to-last practice before the game.
The only consolation would be the return of hockey, but seeing as ESPN refuses to cover hockey (they don't have a contract to broadcast NHL games, so hockey won't be shown on their network).

Since the playoffs started this year, there's been only one game where the team I wanted to win actually won.
(49ers beating the Packers).

You should go to Vegas and bet against yourself with those odds.

I think I'll avoid ESPN for the next 2 weeks.
I was glad to see Shannon Sharpe hammer Bill Belicheck on the post-game show last night. Sharpe was right, Belicheck does make it very easy to root against his team, he's a classless d-bag totally lacking sportsmanship and social skills.
