Hoot was nice..really laid back on our little spot on the Island. With Frisco all we have to do is be in the same area. That was ideal where Frisco 5 was, right there by the little covered area where we grilled.

Bill secured that lot for us and we paid in advance. Someone can, hopefully, do that again. I'm not sure if a pre-emptive call is in order yet. Looking at the stadium dates, we are, indeed, probably looking at the first weekend as subsequent ones are booked in May until the 19th. I am a fundraiser/volunteer at heart and am quite proud of all the work we've done to raise money, but I dearly needed last year and wouldn't mind if we scaled down. I can handle gathering items for the silent auction and setting up, Ginger can still run checkout. I have Square and PayPal card reader so we can take debit/credit cards as well as cash.

Awesome about the reservations. As soon as a date is announced, I can look into that. As far as a silent auction, we can see how many volunteer, as EVERYONE needs to get out and around to experience the tailgate!
I like both venues, but prefer the intimacy of Starplex/Hoot Island. Also, I prefer the Dallas police to the Frisco guys.
I can help with fundraisers - take a shift or two - but don't want to be in charge of anything. Too much stress for a Buffett show.
I have contacts with Starplex ... they staked out the whole island for us last year and we didn't really have to move the barriers until late in the afternoon. That will prolly change if it's a Saturday show, but they might be willing to save us space in our little corner ... and we KNOW Officer Frankie will take care of us.
Hopefully, Tyler and Amanda will make it to Texas this year. She's a Buffett virgin. Think of all the fun we will have!
