If I book the flight now, it'll be $210....travel insurance is $11

If I wait until an oPHicial date is announced....which as we know could take an extra month or TWO the flight alone will be more than $225.....

Re: Travel insurance-be sure that it would cover the things that might be applicable for us. For example, most insurance won't cover "I guessed the wrong date for the Jimmy Buffett concert." You may want to see, though, about getting something like "Event Ticket Protection" which can reimburse your ticket cost if you're unable to make it to the show. Some of the "higher end" credit cards have this as a benefit on them.

Do you think they'd wonder if the doctor note had the same last name on it? My sister-in-law is a....wait a minute, she didn't change her last name. Only issue now is that she practices in northern Cali, not where I live.....

I've all ready had my appendix removed and my gallbladder.....

About the same....I usually search Southwest & Frontier.....Linda just told me about Spirit.....all are pretty close to $220....which is pretty much what I've seen on most of my trips to the Big D.
