I am holding my breath for dates as well, we have a couple of April, May commitments that could cause date clashes. Hopefully all will work out. I would love to see Frisco again but even if it is Dallas we will do our best to make it work……….. I like the ‘Starplex’ for the show but you cannot beat Frisco for the 3 day tailgate!
Definitely agree with the NO Houston in June………..that was brutal. Thank goodness for the AC in the Marriott and there hospitality not kicking Don out as he napped on the couch

I prefer Starplex because it's where Hoot Island is ... and the cops are MUCH more parrothead phriendly. But, like ya'll, I'm just glad Jimmy is still coming to Texas. Maybe he'll do NORTHEAST TEXAS WOMEN this time.

That Woodlands tailgate was brutal! I will NOT do that again, I can promise you that. And we didn't even stay for the whole show, about an hour and 15 mins into it, we left.

So hoping for a Frisco show, though! *fingers crossed*

Well, by the time the show started and the sun went down, it did cool off. I think the heat of the day had caught up to me and I just didn't want to be there anymore. I was the one that looked at Gary and said 'Okay, I'm done, let's go'

I'll never forget wanting to just get a shower, but when we got to La Quinta, we were locked out of our room.

Major mess on assigned rooms. They tried to give our room to someone else who reported stuff in the room, because they had us in some other room, because they changed us because the first room they gave us was horrible and not safe.

I found all this out by reading notes on the wall by unattended front desk while I waited 10 minutes.

Too long a story, but gotta stay somewhere nicer next time.

Still, I loved the show and will go to Frisco too.

And ...we decided we ARE too old to do the parking lot like that again.

Austin was an amazing show.

Just hope the shows are not during state testing. Won't be able to make it unless it is a Saturday show.

Maybe it's just because I made new friends that happened to be Frisco cops, but I thought all the ones I met were great.

So 3 pages in and nobody has thrown out a rumored date!! I need to plan!!

William graduates from HS in May and I would be very conflicted if the grad and concert dates were in competition! [insert bad mom/good PH smilie here] We want to make a long trip of it and see friends in TX before/after the concert. We LOVE the FFF tailgates and really miss them on some level, but last year was wonderful.

Really hoping for an April date, as Dylan has the Hangout Music Festival in May and won't be able to stay at the house for me.

I don't really care when it is as long as I can find cheap airfare. Prices out of MYR aren't very friendly to my wallet right now.

It was so bad at the time, they ended up not charging us for the room. Still does't change how much that place has gone DOWN.
May have to spring for a room along the waterway. Their air conditioned restrooms were a lifesaver that day.

According to the Frisco Convention Bureau head Buffett will be in Frisco the first weekend of May!!!!!!!!! I tried to book a room at Comfort Suites in Frisco and they were booked up??????

Cool. Guess we better get on the Hilton Garden Inn.
