I did, against a local Judge who was running unopposed for the local court. He deserves a challenge.

lol You would have fun here. None of our local (city/county) races were contested.

When a pollster called to find out who I was voting for, I just said "Jimmy Buffett" and hung up! [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Well you asked so...

I voted against it. It's none of my business if some actors want to bump uglies unprotected.

Never thought about writing in a name.

I had a pollster call early this year. He basically asked if I was voting for Obama. I said no. He went into a speach about how bad I was for not voting and asked something like, Why are you voting for Romney? I said I'm not. He was silent. I said Gary Johnson is my guy. He said Who? I hung up after that.

Voted for JB in a uncontested local race here in the Hudson Valley.
The kids thought it was the greatest thing!
I just hope it gets printed in the paper tomorrow.

But then I would no longer have their videos to entertain myself on you tube with. But it would make the State of the Union address fun to watch. :)

If a write in candidate actually wins...how do they find that person?

My write in candidate of choice this time was Clint Eastwood...he is much closer to my political beliefs than JB is. I actually voted for Clint for US Senate since both of my choices were not acceptable to me.

Fella won a write in campaign for mayor in a small town south of us a couple of years ago and they've been trying to get rid
of him ever since.

Whether you agree or disagree with Clint's political views, you have to admit he won his debate. :D
