Tickets: check, Parking Pass: check, Margarita Wings and Propane Fryer: check. Now we just need a great ten day forecast!

New info on Civic Center parking on their website. There's now an RV lot and "Extreme Tailgate" lot. We called to get more info and here's what they said.

They're allowing tents in the Extreme lot and it also opens at 8am. First come, first serve. If you bought a ticket through Ticketmaster, it will work for the Extreme lot, but it will not work for the RV lot.

They are going to charge $50-$100 per RV depending on the size and if you have slides. Basically you pay more based on how many spots you take up. You can park in the RV lot before Tuesday, but you'll have to pay extra per day. They will be running a shuttle between the RV lot and the show, but it's really not that far of a walk.

We found that the two people we talked to both had all the answers, and THEY think they're ready... but there's NO WAY they realize how big this event is going to be!

THIRTEEN MORE DAYS... We're almost within the 10-day forecast to see if we'll be tailgating in shorts or parkas! If it were like today, we'd start with parkas and end up in shorts.

Thanks for the updated info. I'm going to post this out on the FB pages for all to know....Someone in the Buffett Camp must have told these folks they needed more room for tailgating.....yeah, they think they are ready

Accuweather 15 day forecast indicates a high of 68 and partly cloudy. Maybe not flip flops but no parkas.

Jimmy Buffett Parrotheads of Pensacola & Seville Quarter Host Official Pre-Concert Tailgate Party February 5, 2013

So what is a Parrothead to do before Jimmy Buffett comes to town? Party, Party, Party!! The Parrothead Club of Pensacola, Chapter #191 and Seville Quarter are working very hard to make this Jimmy Buffett Concert the event of the year. Parrothead fans can enjoy the same tailgating experience and atmosphere the day of the Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band Lounging at the Lagoon Tour at Seville Quarter.

The Tailgate-Style Party will kick off at 3:00pm and is open to everyone wearing Hawaiian shirts, parrot hats or just have that tropical spirit. The Parrothead Club of Pensacola Tailgate Party will feature The Jerry Diaz & Hanna’s Reef Band, a premier “Gulf Coast Beach Band” based out of the Galveston Bay area and the winner of Trop-Rock’s “Band of the Year” Award in 2012. Seville Quarter will also be offering FREE rides to and from the Pensacola Bay Center staring at 2:00pm.

So, if you like great live Trop-Rock music, $2.00 Landshark Beer, salty Margaritas, cold Pina Coladas, and great Cheese Burgers, Seville Quarter in Downtown Pensacola is the place to be. The Party will also feature a special Concert Ticket Drawing to help benefit the Northwest Florida Wildlife Sanctuary. The party will also have fun tailgate games, other special prizes and Parrothead give-a-ways. So dust off those flip flops, Seville Quarter is firing up that blender and we are going to “Party with a Purpose”! HI, Im coming from Indy and staying on the beach. Looks like the person who is suppose to go to the show with me is backing out last minute. Anyone know of any shuttles going from the beach to the bay center? Any other parties going on the weekend before on the beach? Pensacola is my favorite vacation destination and I cant wait to see Jimmy there.... I havent really gotten any answers from the M'ville hotel when I have called (not very organized)

Brent Burns is playing at Landshark Landing Sun, February 3, 2pm – 5pm

Unless you are staying at M'ville hotel and purchased the package deal....that is the only shuttle I know of that is running from the beach to the Bay Center. M'ville hotel and Landshark Landing still don't have anything planned on their website for the concert.
If you are not staying at the M'ville hotel ask the hotel where you are staying or contact the Pensacola Beach Chamber http://visitpensacolabeach.com/

Hey fellow BNer's. We wanted to invite all Pensacola concert peeps to join us at the Extreme Tailgating area before the show for some pre-show fun. A few of us are planning to arrive before they open the gates to see if we can get into the lot and grab some Extreme spots. We got Margarita wings, gumbo and other snacks to share. Bring your coolers and coozies and join Cat and I for some good times. Look for a brightly colored "It's Five Oclock Somewhere" flag and of course Mr. Utley will be there. Weather forecast looks good so far (fingers crossed!).
