Bicycle Bill wrote:I've been to one show, at Alpine Valley (2009).  I had gotten a seat beneath the pavilion (as an aside, with the weather we had that night — cold and rainy — my seat was worth every nickel I paid for it) but in my opinion the restroom facilities left a lot to be desired as the nearest ones were located halfway back up the hill.  Even if you select a single song for a 'pee break' you could still lose a lot of time 'in transit', as it were.

Therefore, desperate situations call for desperate measures.  One could always fall back on the space-age solution — "astronaut diapers", officially known as "Maximum Absorbency Garments" or MAGs.  Available for both males and females.

The bathroom facilities at Alpine were foul and not nearly adequate for the number of people. I missed a good bit of the show there first because it took over an hour to get into the venue where they were herding people with guards on horseback into a tiny area not adequate to hold them. The the lines to the bathrooms were unbelievable and the bathrooms filthy. This was several years ago. I'm hoping things have improved since then.

You can be in and out in less than a song at Pine Knob and the bathrooms are clean. that said, which song to head out during. I would definitly leave during Gods Own Drunk or Jolly Mon, but he doesn't often play those. Southern Cross works, but is usually late in the show. Hmm will have to wait and see the set list for next year and plan accordingly.

A 95+ degree day helps.....you can sweat it out.
The auto song for me is Why Don't We Get Drunk....but he took a couple years off with that one so you can't count on it.

Where's the "like" button?? :D

Personally I'd think women would be more concerned with a pee break song since the process for us is so much longer (as are the lines) Sadly I have many and most of them get played on a regular basis.. Piece of Work, Volcano, 5 o'clock somewhere come immediately to mind. As long as I don't miss OPH I'm pretty good to go (so to speak) I DO like BEG only because I love to dance to it.

Something to think about until the concert/tour name rumors start.

Get the popcorn ready..........but I can't help myself.

I'm surprised anyone leaves the parking lot at all & goes inside to the show.
I guess nowadays many times a ticket is needed just to get into the lot, plus there are more restrooms inside the venue than outside, so therein lies the answer................. [smilie=lil_red_devil.gif]

You really only need to worry about a plan during the first show of a tour. After that, you can plan it out to the second when you can start walking to bathrooms.

i guess you could either listen to the 1st show and get a idea of what is being played when......or just check the set list to see what song is coming when!!!

20 or so years ago I took my pre pubescent daughters to a show at Glen Helen and entrusted them to my slightly drunk younger sister. They had to pee so she took them to the bushes above the lawn seats because the bathroom line were to long.

To this day it's a family joke as she now has three kids that age and my daughters are threatening to return the favor.
