Is it Alpine yet?

For years, Indy / Alpine / Chicago closely spaced, not so much recently.

But also for years, Jimmy would announce Chicago's Thursday show, tickets go on sale, then announce BOTH Alpine & Chicago's Saturday show, tickets go on sale same date. That was the only way to fill Thursday's seats. Now, Chicago show generally has seats right up to day of concert anyway - Chicago's venues just don't stack up.

Part of the reason is the amount he is raping people on tickets. Used to be able to buy tickets to both shows in Chicago for less than ONE ticket to a show now.

I hope that they go on sale soon. Last year I didn't go. This year I will be going. I usally get pav seats. We are planing to sit lawn. It will rain.

Depeche Mode announced August 24th in Chicago...come on Jimmy, I need to know if there is a scheduling conflict.

I was trying to remember when he announced the dates last year. What I found made me depressed...May 4 was when Alpine was announced last year. But, Cincinnati was announced about a month before that, and since Cinci was announced a couple of weeks ago, maybe we are going to hear something soon. Or maybe not...who knows at this point. Just patiently waiting here in the cold midwest! I hope I don't shoot my freezer when I get home, this winter seems to be dragging on...and on...and on...

I heard that Jimmy is p*** that "fans" are trying to sell tickets already. Smaybe he is trying to stop this practice. I just hope that they go on sale the day I don't have to work. On a Saturday that I don't have to get up at 5:30 am.

Confirmed Saturday Aug. 24. Mark it down.
