Club Trini question

Post by phjrsaunt »

Howdy-
I'm trying to figure out what the ORIGINAL release date was for Club Trini's "Margaritaville Cafe New Orleans-Late Night Live" was. I have the re-released one that came out in 2000, but I can't find what the original release year was.

Anyone?

Many thanks phrom your pal, Auntie :D :D

Club Trini was originally a two man gig
with Robert Greenidge and Michael Utley.
Literally a lounge act.

For all intents and purposes, Club Trini (the two man act)
was formed in 1986
with the release of their inaugural album (yes vinyl) Mad Music.
Followed by 1987’s (more vinyl) Jubilee and 1988’s Heat,
and their fourth (CD only), Club Trini.

By the late 1990s, they had "expanded" to include
at one time or another almost every current member
of the Coral Reefers and began releasing CDs in the
"Margaritaville Late Night Series" we all now know.

Allmusic.com lists the release date as May 30, 2000. Was there ever a re-release of that one?

Okay. Thanks. I thought the one released in 2000 was a RErelease, but mayhaps I was wrong? (shhhhh....it'll be our little secret!) [smilie=battingeyes.gif]
