My best friend's brother, Scotty, was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome as an infant. He's been able to attend the public Unionville Community High School for the last several years and last Friday he had the ultimate high school experience.
The three senior boys that were nominated to the homecoming court decided that no matter who was crowned, they would give that distinction to Scotty. He was absolutely thrilled to be called up in front of the student body and hasn't taken his medal off yet.

Thanks Lesley! It was cool coming here and seeing this. The boy, Scotty, is my daughter's adopted brother on her dad's side and she is working hard to get the story out to the masses ... we can all use a feel-good story now and then!
