Sounds like you're getting a good start on the tailgating! How is the venue? Is it a long walk from the RV lot to lot A?

Paula, we drove from the RV lot to lot A. It's a pretty long walk.

If you found the racetrack you found the venue.. they are right beside each other. I have a tiny small gas grill, southwest and regular tortillas and 3 pounds of Slovak sausage links, mustard and snack mix.

Thanks, Nancy! Wish I could take our weather with us! It's suppose to get up to 80 in CC today, but with rain this afternoon. The rain forecast for Austin isn't quite so bad for the concert...0% during the concert! woo hoo, but it will be chilly!

I'm confused about parking- I'm counting down the hours until I get off work and hoping to be there by three and that I can find a parking spot! I bought parking when I bought my tickets but all it says on the parking ticket is lot's a and f- pretty sure A is full now and from the map that was posted on here F looks like a gray area of no man's land. Is anyone tailgating there?? I haven't been out to the track so any feedback on where to park and where the fun people are at would be great.
It also says on my ticket for parking row 34 seat 17, is that an assigned space?

If it starts raining, somebody please post a note. We aren't going to get there until 6:00ish. We have lawn tickets and need to know if we need to pack a tarp or a blanket. We don't want to sit in mud

Just received a call from the Radio Station(BOB-FM) that I won the tickets. They said that the show has been post-poned until tomorrow night.


Can anyone onsite confirm this?


UPDATE: I just called Circuit of the Americas at (512) 301-6600. The operator I spoke with said it has been pushed back 24 hours.
