First of all, that requires the power to be operating. Secondly, I believe that there's this annoying little international law that prohibits that sort of thing, even under circumstances like these.
Frankly, when they started designing and building this new breed of 'super-liners' that look less like ships and more like hotels on a hull, I wonder if they ever considered the problems of caring for 5000 passengers and crew under less-than-ideal conditions. Doesn't seem like it.....
