I just got my ticket.... Section 4, Row 9.
Any tailgate groups want a life-long Parrothead to party with? This is my second time ever going to a Buffett concert without my family, first time going completely alone (I moved 7 hours away from them from SC to Nashville). The first time I went without them, my ex was opening up for Jimmy in Philly so I got together with a large tailgate group from this site in Philly, & it was a blast. So, if anyone wants a 26-year-old to bring drinks & food & a big supply of coconut bras, please let me know!
When you mentioned the Philly show, I had to go back through my tailgate pictures and check because I was at that show too. Is this you? (I'm the grey haired old goat but the beard and mustache have been gone for a couple of years.)

Tennessee has the highest beer tax rate in the nation at 17%.
IIRC from living there for 35 years, it's so high because it has a "sin tax" added to it!
sadly, most taxes on beer, liquor, and cigarettes/cigars/tobacco are "sin taxes", enacted by a bunch of blue-noses who wouldn't know fun if it bit them on their ample, and broadening tuchases
Margarillas just posted on Facebook that Margaritaville is throwing another street party on April 27th. Live music begins at 11am with food and drink. It said, "Stop by Margaritaville Cafe on Broadway to get your party started"!!
"I wanna be there before the day tries to steal away and leave us behind. I've made up my mind. And I wanna be there. I wanna go back down and die beside the sea there..."

In Joelton, about 15 minutes away from downtown & the venue, the Days Inn has rooms right now for $50 a night. It's not THAT great of a hotel but cheap price & rooms are still available right now, so I recommend scooping those up.
I will definitely be absent from this gathering and it will be the first Nashville show I've missed since 2002 (even though we went several years without a show). I'm in Tampa and it's going to be a while before I get back up there.
You guys have a blast and do it up right for me.
I knew this girl made of memories and phrases, who lived her whole life in both chapters and stages.
Danced 'til the dawn, wished all her worries away.
She's a long way from a West Nashville grand ballroom gown.
