Shoot, the 2011 concert thread had 34 pages ! This is what facebook has done, I think. I still love BN !!!

I agree about the Facebook thing.

Is anyone on here in the Cincinnati area? I am trying to get some questions answered about parking for buses and Riverbend is no help at all.

We have about 20 people coming in a chartered mini-bus this year because we were concerned about the parking and tailgating situation. I'm the kind of guy that wants to know what to expect.

dlewis, I'm no help with your bus situation, not a local. I definitely understand you wanting to know what to expect. In the past there have been RVs in the two lots on the corners of Sutton and Kellogg, but past precedent doesn't mean anything this year.

We always park our trucks in the "grassy" lot across from the Riverdowns lot. We get there around 11 or noon and there is plenty of room. I'm guessing things will fill up quicker this year. I called Riverbend and and they said parking would be handled by Coney Island for buses. Coney Island doesn't allow tailgating so...

I guess we'll find out when we arrive! Either way I'm pumped as usual!!!

I'm still confused about the pre-party....I see on the Cincinnati PHC facebook page that the Boat Drunks will be playing from 8-on at the Margaritaville Cafe. But I've also heard something about having an all-day party on Monday there (or somewhere). Which ?
This year will be different, with all the fences up and trees down in the tailgate areas.

I can't even blame Facebook... Where DOES the time go?? This was so far away for so long.

Anyway, sad to say that it'll just be Marty this trip. Unfortunately, the part of the franchise that everyone would rather see cannot get the time off, but Moe does send her love and regrets.

Some of you may remember David, the Alpha Parrot of the WNYPHC, who inexplicably falls asleep at peoples tailgates - he will be along with me for Cher to harass (actually, everyone can harass him, as this is his last concert as a single guy!)

Anywho, sorry to all for being 'incommunicado' - but I really can't wait to see all our 'Cincy' friends again and meet some new ones! Thanx for the parking lot updates, Cher - and Bodypainter, I've enjoyed the pictures of your work thus far! Todd, rum AND tequila, correct? (Just checking). Linda, thanx for the pirate ship tip (you always make me laugh!) Scott & Carol, Lisa & Dean, Mother Flocker, gosh, the list goes on & on. Cannot wait!!

Wow, a week from now I'll be drunk in Cincinnati...probably giving Jimmy my camera and asking if he would mind taking a photo of me & Charleston together...
