The question is would Jones Beach even be on the schedule this year? The entire Jones Beach state park got hit pretty bad by Sandy, the boardwalk destroyed and video clips showed the theater buried in debris.
Hubby and I were wondering that if whoever manages the state park couldn't guarantee a set date by which the theater would be back in commission, would Buffett skip it all together this year?

There are already performers scheduled for Jones Beach this year like Fleetwood Mac, Dave Matthews in June.

It looks like Jones Beach for me this year. My first time at this venue. Anyone know how the bus lot is? Do they allow enough room for, say, 50 people to sprawl out around a bus?

The bus lot is the place to be. But, like others have said, be there before sunup. Or, the night before.
