We were lazy on Tuesday - not arriving to the beach until 7:45 - but on Thursday, a few of us we kept a very special tradition alive. I know Moe posted a pic on Facebook, but I thought there should also be a pic posted here, in the Jones Beach thread, where some of us first got to meet Tropic Al.
Right after our blue-cup-sunrise toast to Al, the sun's rays shone above the cloud - and while the rain wasn't gone for the rest of the day, we all got the message that it would be a great day - and it was. Thanx, Al. You were missed, but not forgotten.
