Anyone know if Nashville will have a street party again? First one was a blast! Also any idea if Peter or other Reefers will do a show at M'ville on Friday night? (fingers crossed, fingers crossed!)

For some unexplained reason Jimmy and Tour Manager Charles "Chuckles" Fernandez will not allow the band members to do side concerts on their own while touring with Jimmy.
Ridiculous, but that's how it is.

When did this start?

Last year.

They still do "meet & greets" at various venues (as far as I know), but no side concerts in conjunction with the tour.

Well poo. Peter did a fundraiser with the Reefers two years ago, the night before Jimmys concert. Tons if fun!

Right!  I have pictures of Utley, Doyle, and Nadirah on-stage with the Boat Drunks at the Two Seasons Bowl (in Elkhorn WI) the night before the 2009 show at Lake Geneva.  Even got Nadirah's autograph on my necktag.

Didn't a ban like this happen about 10 years ago or so as well? About the same time of the rumored "no more health insurance" and "no family members on tour" rule and the subsequent exodus of some of the band members?

Margarillas just posted on Facebook that Margaritaville is throwing another street party on April 27th. Live music begins at 11am with food and drink.It said, "Stop by Margaritaville Cafe on Broadway to get your party started"!!

Yes. It caused Mac MacAnally to leave the band for a few shows, but he returned a short time later.
It was also believed by many that this was the reason Fingers Taylor left the band, however, sources in the know emphatically stated there were other reasons which swiftly prompted his departure.
