Think the point was that based upon the initial positive response the water taxi's are gonna get SWAMPED with Buffett Phans. They won't know what hit em! They may need something the size of a cruise ship!

Think the point was that based upon the initial positive response the water taxi's are gonna get SWAMPED with Buffett Phans. They won't know what hit em! They may need something the size of a cruise ship!

You MUST buy your ticket ahead of time....they will not be selling tickets at the pier.
When I bought mine a couple days ago, it said there were 282 available left for purchase.

There is no link or phone number.

How do all of you water taxi riders plan on tailgating? Or are you just showing up in the island for the show?

We'll be leaving the party @ the pier as soon as the lots open up and we will have coolers of plenty of beverages and food... But we'll only have enough to share w/ the nicest of moochers. Or for the select few who manage to beat us at our games.

Does anyone know what time the gates open to get into the venue?

We are planning on hanging out at the Navy Pier party until the gates open I think...but I'm up for whatever else people have planned.

I assume I need to select the option of water taxi tickets for a "future date"?
Also, it asks you to pick a time of day. The only time listed for June 29th is 9:00 AM. Does this mean you can use the tickets beginning at 9 AM for the next 24 hours, or 9 AM only?
Then it doesn't say how you get the ticket. Are they delivered to you or do you pick them up there?

Then click on select event time beside the one for the Buffett taxi...there is only one time to select.
Then add to cart.
When you check out you can print your ticket or bring the confirmation to one of the ticket booths at navy pier to get your tix.
I'm assuming they are just using their default order form hence the "time" selection...but I believe they are running multiple taxis and your ticket will get you on the first available one to the concert.

I should have added...you will need to be hooked up to your printer, print out your ticket, and bring it with you.

You can bring the email confirmation of your ticket purchase to any of the watertaxi stands to get printed tickets...that's what we are doing.

Does anybody know if the venue will allow bus/RV parking? I have tried calling and it is near impossible to get an actual person on the phone. The recording states that parking information will be available soon. Lack of details from the venue aside...in 9 days it will officially be summer.
