That's a lot of info to digest. On another note, I love how the advertised price of $30 for priority parking is the lowest available amount, and only goes up from there.

Anyone know if it is ok to bring a cooler on board the Water Taxi? We'd like to bring a cooler with us, take the water taxi down to Northerly Island and walk around the Soldier Field tailgate area for awhile. Feedback, ideas?? Also, do they search bags on the water taxi (thinking flask).

I guess if the won't allow us on the water taxi with a cooler, we could always catch a cab.

Looking forward to Saturday, woohoo!!!

I hear Patrick Kane mentioned the possibility of the Stanley Cup attending the concert on Saturday. Would be awesome. I missed it in 2010.

After reading it again, I think you are right. And it looks like the drop off will be on the other side of Lake Shore, so it will be just as long if not longer for them to walk. So put your walking flip flops on! Stay positive and make the best of what we got! That's my moto for the weekend! Almost Buffett time in Chi-town! Can't wait to see Lord Stanley at the concert!! And by see I mean on the jumbo screen since I am going to be on the lawn.

Anyone else notice that the Charter One FaceBook page is gone? Weird...anyway, I called someone at Live Nation and he said there is a shuttle from the South lot to the venue, or at least the turn around at the Adler. But it may be a hit and miss type of thing so be on the lookout if you are in the South lot! 1 more day!

OK...Looks like they just changed the name of the venue! It is now FirstMerit Bank Pavillion. Just changed it yesterday.

It is going to drop us off at Burns Harbor, which is directly next to Northerly Island and at the time that the gates will open!

That would be Burnham Harbor, not Burns Harbor, and yes, that is right next to Northerly Island. I've got charter customers that day, and I think I will be dropping them off at the same place. I know the guys from Tiki Boat, you'll have a fun time.

I thought I had a charter customer for the evening (anchoring in Lake Michigan for the concert) but it fell through. So if anyone wants to charter Phenix, the information is at http://www.PhenixSailing.com

Friday is available too, for a warmup for the weekend.

Still available for going out in the evening for the Buffett show. I can handle 6. I've got two people that might be interested so would need 4 more. Or someone could book the whole boat for a party of 6.

I am listening to Radio Margaritaville on the way down now. They were talking about the party on the south lawn
tomorrow, the water taxis, etc.

Good news! The city of Chicago has a special variance for tomorrow for alcoholic beverages!
You will be able to carry your drink from the lawn party on to the water taxi with you
I don't know about a cooler, though. But the boat drink deal is good! ^^^^^^
