Maybe the full tour has already been announced.

Or maybe not.

"Full Tour" was announced a few years ago, then reversed. That didn't go over well.

And some of us don't plan our year's adventures in order to see Jimmy.

Would like to see a complete tour listed & for all of us true Parrotheads around the country/world, who plan life from March to October based upon a show date, just a little bit of consideration. Release all the dates at once & play all the stops that help build this massive empire.

as has been mentioned, the idea of announcing the schedule for the full tour at once was tried a couple three years ago. Then stuff came up (tho oddly, MLB can put together a whole season for 30 teams from April to Oct. with a lot less fuss than Jimmy seems to need to 25-30 play dates in sporadic bursts.) Personally, I agree with you that the other stuff seems to have taken priority and I am sure he is in negotiations to put an M'ville in Macao soon (the "Somewhere Over China" tie-in).

As for complaints about planning your life around the tour, understood. Not everyone has the ability to put in a vacation request after a certain window in the year, and it would be nice to know "it's gonna be 'here'"

I just don't really care that much any more and I'm not going to plan my life around him--and not live my life because of where/when he may or may not be playing. I have (and I think we all do) have better things to do with our time. JB should not be interfering with living actual life.

I agree... Don't plan your life around tour dates.

And with all this terror going on in the country; maybe we need a few more mvilles...

I always thought "Parrothead" was more of a state of mind, choice in the way you live your life, and how you interact with others.

Sun, surf and sand is what sets the table. Then we have fun making friends, sharing memories while making new ones, and helping each other out. It is a great way of escaping the day in and day out work week grind of life, and focusing in on what is REALLY important.

Sure, more details would be nice, and more information could help, but the bottom line is try not to be frustrated about it.
It is what it is....take out a CD, put it in the player, put your feet up, grab your beverage of choice, and let the chips fall where they may......

Who needs a Jimmy Buffett concert to have a good time with friends. No concert...no problem. Invite friends over, set up tiki bar, fire up the grill, fire up the blenders, set up the games, play music, etc. Who needs a concert to get in the way of good times?

I agree with the original intent about the casinos. I don't plan my life around Buffett. With that being said my wife and I are usually fortunate enough to see two buffett shows a year....but by no mean do we plan our lives around it. The idea of being a parrot head is more of a state of mind for me. I work hard most of the year which allows us to vacation at our place in Florida for a month of the year. Not a bad deal for a couple in their early 30's and late 20's. now if I could just live LIPH's life.
