The first show I went to was, May 3rd in 1997 and it was damn cold that night. Not as cold as today, but still cold. Yesterday it was almost 90 and now it's sleeting and snowing and I'm losing it. All I have in the house is peach pop, blueberry juice, coconut water and tequila. Any suggestions?

Just checked the Austin Weather and the temps are currently in the 50's and expected to drop to the low 40's with 45 mph wind gusts forecast for tonight

Postponement was a GOOD CALL

And now he a a few years older and perhaps not as comfortable with the cold. Don't forget the 45 mph wind gusts could raise havoc with beach balls and other inflatables.

It was postponed at the request of one particular inflatable party duck.

At least that's my working theory ......

Wow. Feel bad for those who made a road trip & can't stay for tomorrow.
I hope it turns a bit tropical for the rest of you by then.
And go figure, here I am 150 miles north of Buffalo, sittin' on my back patio, no shirt, no shoes, 79 in the shade, cold one in hand, scantily clad women in the park behind.
I think I hear Manana playing in reverse........
Don't want to go through Detroit City,
Customs there they hassle me!

Mix it all together.....drink.....
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

It's almost 100 outside here. Very unseasonable.

I remember about 10 years ago at Irvine it started drizzling at the intermission and it turned to a cold wet soaking by the encore. My wife was not a happy camper.

50 in the midwest and you are wearing shorts. 50 in the south you cancel a concert. What is this world coming to????
Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.

Accuweather indicating 25-39 mph winds effecting East Central Texas. For all you folks tailgating another 24 hours, try surfing in a hurricane at Hippy Hollow! Be safe all!

Temps in Austin are going down to the low 40's with 45 mph winds which will make things feel a lot colder with a wind chill

Low 40s - people still sunbathe. You buy a ticket for a concert anywhere in the US for the beginning of May, you may get cold weather. Most tickets usually say rain or shine.

If I had spent the $150+ seats cost, I would certainly be madder than hell, and I probably would even consider some sort of lawsuit.

Wind is crazy outside of the venue right now. Inside I'm sure it is stronger

Safety of the band, crew, and everyone here is important. I'm sure that was taken into account

It isn't really that cold here in Austin, but there are extremely high winds. After the accident at the Sugarland show a couple of years ago, there are liability issues when there are high winds. I called ticketmaster earlier this afternoon and I'm getting a refund. I have no complaints.

Sugarland stuff makes sense.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...
