Just home from the show. A great time. Buffett did three songs. Changes, P@40 and Margaritaville. He also did a duet with James Taylor with "Mexico".
At the end of the show many of the performers came back on stage to do a two song encore including Buffett. It was pretty funny to see Jimmy up there with the New Kids on the Block, Aerosmith, J. Giles Band and others. The video below has the encore. Move to about the 2 min mark when Jimmy gets pulled into Steven Tyler's vortex after that Jimmy was neck deep, getting bounced around, singing with one of the New Kids and wearing one of Steven Tyler's hats and more. Towards the end we got a Buffett, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Peter Wolf moment with all singing into a single shared microphone.

JB looks uncomfortable with the entire group.BottleofRum wrote:Just home from the show. A great time. Buffett did three songs. Changes, P@40 and Margaritaville. He also did a duet with James Taylor with "Mexico".

He looked uncomfortable during his 3 song set too. But I have to admit, it was nice to actually be able to hear him sing. Many on the crowd did not know the words so they were not singing along land drowning his voice out.

Mentions that Buffett immediately contacted him offering to help any what he could.
Among the first to call him was Jared Paul, the manager of New Kids on the Block, who suggested some sort of event to raise money for the victims. Law, whose power and reach have run deep within the entertainment industry during a four-decade career, sprang into action. He called his old friend James Taylor, who immediately signed on, and next Law got an e-mail from Jimmy Buffett asking how he could help. And then the wheels really started to turn.

Mac appeared during carol king and jt. Great show thought boston and j geils sounded great. Could have done without the new kids but hey they donated their time. We were on the floor two cameras kept swinging over ourheads so must be something in the work

I was funny seeing Mac just suddenly appear on stage behind James Taylor. He looked a little bit uncomfortable up there like thinking to himslef, s*** wrong Jimmy! It reminded me that Seinfeld episode with Kramer at the Tony awards.
