Make sure you are OK with the fine print before buying, especially this, which kept me from buying it: Drinks included are: Rolling Rock, Frozen Margaritas, and well mix drinks.

I went ahead and got the Groupon thing for Carlos and Charlies. I figure if the well rum is nasty I will probably have dead taste buds after a few Bloody Ceasars at Bugsys bar anyway. So what the heck.

My guess is that you'll be fine if you get there by 8pm. A lot of the phans in town that weekend will have no idea who Mishka is, so I don't forsee a mob scene at this show. If you wanted to show up at 7 to eat and hang for the show, I think you'll be fine.....just make sure to have them seat you in a table that will stay as many tables near the stage will likely be removed before show time.

We are going on 26 Oct. and we are staying at the Blue Green Resorts. We are meeting our son and daughter-in-law there. We are form NY and the they are driving in from Palm Springs, CA. First time seeing Jimmy there and we cant wait. Can we bring anything to the pool party at the Flamingo or do we buy everything there? Might be a little chilly at night. Forcast says mid 70's for day time highs and lower 50's for nighttime lows. Looks like I will be packing shorts and jeans and maybe a hoodie.

I went for the Groupon deal too and, just to play it safe, I called and emailed Carlos and Charlie's to make sure they were going to honor it on October 19. I got told "yes" both times including once from Julie Twidwell, the marketing director. So if they try to renege as the Parrotheads drink the bar dry, just tell him "Julie Twidwell said we could!" Again, the only conditions are, you have to buy it at LEAST 24 hours in advance, and it's limited to frozen margaritas, mixed well drinks and Rolling Rock. I can live with that ... I mean, for $24.95, you can't get two good drinks once the concert starts.

Groupon: you get your moneys worth with just 2 1/2 drinks.

Last year we did not need long pants and hoodie but this year might be a little different.
