Virginia Beach-Tailigating

Have a large Pholck headed up the coast to VB for the July 13 show. Can anyone help with the tailgating situation in VB? Hearing it is hit & miss. Some say, yes venue lots open early & allow it...others say no tailgating & lots open 2 hours before show.
Need some help here. Anyone have experience in w/ JB Show in VB?
