Hoping Radio Margaritaville does the sneak preview thing again, with Jimmy comments on the songs.

That would be nice, Chip!

I guess I just want more after hearing Oldest Surfer on the Beach. It's nice hearing Somethin Bout A Boat on RM.

I keep looking for news of the album cover or tracklist on Margaritaville.com and mailboat records.com and it's nice to look forward to new stuff.

Going to have to listen to that when I get home today. It must be "worthy" for you to post the link.

Like the cover and can see this was taken in St Barth on Lorient Beach.

The ruins on the right are Autour du Rocher.

The cover looks like something a five year old slapped together in under ten seconds using MS Paint. I hope more effort went into the recording.

I like the picture. I never expect a jimmy Buffett album to have an iconic framable cover that you see reproduced and sold as prints to hang on the wall. I can see what you mean by the cover though. I'd be lying if at first I didn't think it looked like an independent low budget album cover.

I'm really excited Serpintine is on the new CD. It was a great addition at Jazz Fest and I had hoped he would put it on a new round of songs.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

RM on FB said they are playing some of the new songs. I haven't heard a studio version of one yet. Has anyone else?

There are samples of the songs on Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/Songs-From-St-Som ... 1&sr=301-1

I told myself that I would not listen to samples but I couldn't resist.
As the album title suggests, it sounds tropical. More so than the last couple of albums.
Pleasantly surprised and looking forward to it!
