Hmmmm ..... fuel capacity is over 9000 gallons. So a fill up probably runs 35-40K!!!
Stuff like that is why I always thought Jimmy kept touring. He has a very expensive lifestyle. Now I'm getting worried that this is his last summer tour.
Let the rumors begin.

Here at Margaritaville, Inc., everything must go! If we couldn't laugh, our prices would be
insane!

If he's like most yachtsmen, the sale of one boat - means a new boat is coming!

I have tried to propose to our club that we buy the boat. We figured if we each chip in $54,000+, we would have just about enough. Then we could take turns living on the boat and running cruises up and down the Potomac. It could be one kick a$$ New Year's Eve cruise.
Hey! I can dream........right?

You could bring it down for MOTM and invite all your BN friends onboard for a party.

The Continental Drifter III was built at Delta Marine in Seattle as the Defiant:
http://deltamarine.com/yacht_defiant.html
Right now they're finishing up their latest project, I wonder if it will be the Continental Drifter IV?
http://deltamarine.com/cp_211042.html
My office is right across the waterway from Delta and we've all been watching the progress of the build and wondering who it is for....

Hmmm....description states it's for "an American family".
BTW - we're all talking about how much $$$ it would cost to fill the 9,000 gallon tanks of CDIII, this new boat has a fuel capacity of
51,300 gallons. Yikes!

In the Press Release it says
"Special consideration was given to the outdoor spaces including a fold down beach cabana at the stern with bar, day head and an extra large sundeck with spa.'
That sounds about right for the CD IV...
http://deltamarine.com/PR/211042%20Press%20Releases.pdf
The Continental Drifter was a 62 footer, the Continental Drifter II was a 89 footer, and the Continental Drifter III is a 124 footer..... Jimmy definitely has "2 foot-itis" and I'd say that a 215 footer sounds just about right....
