We will have some new additions to our monstrous hats and look forward to some good times and warm(ish) weather. Not sure what we're doing for food yet. What are most people here doing? Cooking? Catering? Eating in the Pepsi Center?
I think it all depends on the weather. Ya never know if we'll be in the 80's or 30's.
The higher the number, the better! Those of us coming from Florida, need it to be nice and cool, not cold!
The Colorado Parrot Head Club had a tailgate planning meeting back on 7/25. This is posted on their Facebook page, so hopefully things are geting done!
Well, I guess I should start making plans for my first trip to Colorado since 1982. I decided to go to the 10/19 Vegas show and this one instead of Phoenix and the 10/26 Vegas show. Any hotel recommendations from the locals would be appreciated. I don't need a 5 star hotel but I don't want a dump either just because it's cheap. Thanks in advance.

There are several, but we haven't stayed at them, but they have good reviews. We were just at this Embassy Suites a few months ago. Like it a lot. Nothing downtown Denver is inexpensive. But this is about a mile from the venue, easy cab ride, or walk if you had to.
Thanks Penny, I'm at the Curtis. Since I won't be getting there until Monday afternoon and I'm leaving Wednesday, I'm looking at the Super Shuttle from the airport. It would be a waste of money to rent a car just to let it sit at the hotel for 2 days.
Well E and I took Mon/Tues/Wed off. FinsUpInFL (Steve is coming to town), as well as Karen (ParrotheadKalee) and James. We'll make more plans as it gets closer.

And don't forget Larry...I'm sure you're already coordinating with the local Hooters.
There is a Hooters in Denver, isn't there?
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

Larry...super shuttle is super easy from the airport. If you are really cheap, you can take a city bus for $8 from the airport to downtown and then walk a few blocks.
The Curtis is just across from my office. I walk by it every day.
There's no Hooters downtown, but there is a Tilted Kilt (same idea but plaid skirts).
The Corner Office, the bar inside the Curtis, also has good happy hour prices.
There are 2 Hooters and a Tilted Kilt here in Myrtle Beach. I've been to Tilted Kilt a few times, in fact I'm going there for lunch today because I have a coupon, but I prefer Hooters.
