Or........the Hotel Indigo is at the end of the T line in Newton. It's actually cheaper the most "in city" hotels. Stay there and take the T to the show. Remember the T doesn't run all night so after the show, get on the T and go back to the hotel.aeroparrot wrote:For those who are driving, there isn't really that much parking near the Paradise. You could get street parking (if you can find a spot) and usually those are metered near there until about 6PM. On the side streets are for Allston-Brighton residents ONLY mostly and you will be towed. There are a few signed Visitor parking areas but are two hour limit only until 6 PM where you can park all night until 8 AM the next morning. And yes, you guessed it, if you get there before 5 PM, there is a chance you will be towed. Between 5 and 6, MAYBE a chance but it drops down. There are city parking lots on Harvard Ave near Blanchards Liquors near the corner of Harvard and Brighton Aves. You could walk to the Paradise (go towards the Prudential building -- you should see it from there) on the left hand side of the street, or take the 57 bus to either Pleasant or Babcock Streets. There is a parking lot on Commonwealth Ave right near the BU Campus, can't remember how far down and if it is only for BU students/faculty or if it is open to the public. There is also a parking garage on Beacon Street near Kenmore. If you are taking the T, take the B Green Line to either Pleasant Street or Babcock Streets or any of the Green Line trains, except the E, to Kenmore, then take the 57 bus to those streets.
If the show ends at 11, then you have time to get to the T.Carolinadreamin' wrote:Or........the Hotel Indigo is at the end of the T line in Newton. It's actually cheaper the most "in city" hotels. And yes CJ, its Buffett Season, I'm back!
My boss pretty much told me not to go in on Thursday. I might take her up on it to give j plenty of time to park.SchoolGirlHeart wrote:Pretty much, yep.tigzoe wrote:Do Ravi, you are telling me I am screwed of I want to get parking a block or two away?
Yep. If I can get a ticket, I could show the secret Visitor spot to the person driving in and park near my old apartment and take the T in.tigzoe wrote:Do Ravi, you are telling me I am screwed of I want to get parking a block or two away?
Or they could take the 57 bus back out west and you would be let off right at the block of Paradise (or the B Line is also good though).TommyBahama wrote:if you are staying at the Red Roof .....from there drive to the riverside T stop in wellsley (off 95 0r 128) from there take it to Kenmore SQ...get off and take the another green...i think it's Cleveland circle line to St Paulie St ...Paradise is right there...parking at riverside use to be 5 bucks....that's what i do if heading into Boston frpm CT...just look at the T schedule on times....
