Jimmy Buffett will perform a benefit show for the 1 Fund on June 20th at The Paradise Club Rock Club. Ticket's go on sale this Friday with a two ticket per customer limit, all tickets are $99 plus fees via Ticketmaster / Live Nation

The Paradise Rock Club holds less then 1000 people so this is a rare opportunity to see Jimmy in an intimate club setting

Another Boston benefit show? Let's see, the monetary damages in Boston due to the marathon bombings are estimated at $333 million and left 4 people dead and 264 injured. The monetary damages in Oklahoma due to the recent tornadoes have topped well over $2 billion and left 33 people dead and 377 injured. Maybe I missed it, but I haven't heard anything about Jimmy doing a benefit show anywhere in Oklahoma. He is breaking ground on a new casino and restaurant in Tulsa later this year so he does/or will have ties to the state. IMHO, another Boston benefit show seems almost...uh...I'm searching for the right words here... maybe overly attentive (???) considering that Oklahoma will soon be part of the Republic of Margaritaville. I applaud Jimmy for his generosity and he is freely giving his time, energy and money to worthy causes--I just wish he'd spread his love around a little more before handing out "seconds."

CW (no, I'm not an Okie)

No offense.....but I think the fact that they're in Beantown for the Saturday show already & they can use it as an opportunity to do a "live" rehearsal are the key factors. Don't look at it as a slight to OKC.....again I think logistics are driving this "benefit".

Agreed. I don't think it is a slight either. Since I don't live anywhere near OK, I am not sure what is going on down there. JB has been very Boston friendly for years and he will be in the area. Plus, the Boston Strong show wasn't nationally broadcasted and the stream stunk for the first hour. The only channel that had the show was channel 5. I live in Maine and lost channel 5 with my cable company a couple of years ago.

The same night that Jimmy Buffett and bunch of other artists performed in a benefit show in Boston (5/30/13), there was in fact a benefit concert in Oklahoma for the tornado victims. Jimmy had already agreed to perform in Boston on 5/30/13 and could be in both places at the same time on the same night.

This second Show by Jimmy on 6/20 is happening because Jimmy and The Coral Reefers are going to be in Boston for the 6/22 show at Greatwoods.

Don Law ( one time huge area promoter ) who was involved with the Boston Strong concert also owns , or is involved with the Paradise club in Boston. I see him doing as a favor to Don Law , and to help Boston with the 1fund. It i think it was convenience, since he will be in Boston.

Keep refreshing!! TM usually doesn't make all available at once. Good Luck!
