Missed seeing the two of you this year--hopefully next year will be different.

We had an excellent time, too. We had seats and they were right in front of the VIP area. Good view of the backstage trailers, too.
I loved Jimmy's little dance around the Stanley Cup: anyone have pictures of that?
I think the show was a little short because the rain started. We had a long walk through the park but caught a city bus on Michigan Avenue with no trouble.
Don't know if I converted my Buffett Virgin, but she really did enjoy her people-watching!

This was really part of the huge disappointment on the lawn... we knew the people down in the "seating" section had to be having a blast.

I have a question. The venue was next to the lake as I understand. Were there any "boat people"? I'm thinking like there were at the Miami Marine Stadum show that's on VHS?

Lake Michigan was not cooperating on Saturday. Way to rough out.

It will be interesting to learn how the Phish concerts go this weekend. Wonder if the storms affected things there tonight as it did at Wrigley where the Pearl jam concert was stopped.

Phish show already cut short due to the rain and "hazardous" conditions at Meigs Field.
Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.

Just reading that. they told fans to evacuate----and just where are they supposed to go that is safe?

Anywhere off their "property" so no lawsuits can happen.

I'm anxious to see the ball of fury urlcenter unleashes via social media on yet another concert he hasn't attended. If his previous tirade was any indication, his Phish commentary should be non-stop comedy gold.

not urlcenter, but I just looked at the comments on the venue's Facebook page, and while there aren't a lot of them, there are some similar comments about the staff, the sight lines from the lawn, the concession problems, etc.
