Eileen Brennan dies at 80

One of my favorite actresses.
Emmy-winning actress Eileen Brennan, perhaps best known for her role as Goldie Hawn's commanding officer in the 1980 film "Private Benjamin," has died from bladder cancer at age 80."Our family is so grateful for the outpouring of love and respect for Eileen," Brennan's family said in a statement.

I loved her in Private Benjamin, the movie and the series! Sail on Capt. Lewis!!!!

She also got a part with the original cast of "Laugh In," but quit before the show got off the ground.
She was a great actress. She'll most definitely be missed.
